Material
PETGTough, food-safe, slight flex. Good for containers.
Our default all-rounder for functional and durable parts — tough, food-safe, and shrugs off the moisture, heat, and chemicals that soften PLA. Flexes under load instead of cracking, with a clean, glossy finish. Best for containers, brackets, enclosures, and parts that take a real beating.
Standard (basic) PLA — the classic, budget-friendly hobby filament and our lowest-priced material. Prints easily with crisp detail in the same wide color range as PLA Plus. A little stiffer but more brittle than PLA Plus, and it softens in sustained heat or direct sun (~60°C), so keep it indoors. Best for prototypes, test fits, display pieces, and cost-sensitive parts — step up to PLA Plus when a part needs more toughness.
PLA PlusStrong, ductile, cost-effective. Widest color range for crisp, colorful, aesthetic prints.
Our default all-rounder for aesthetic and colorful prints — strong, ductile, affordable, and offered in the widest range of colors. Prints crisp detail and holds tight tolerances. Softens in sustained heat or direct sun (~60°C), so keep it indoors. Best for display pieces, prototypes, toys, and everyday parts.
ASAWeatherproof, UV-resistant, high-temp. For outdoor parts.
Built for the outdoors — shrugs off UV, rain, and heat without yellowing or turning brittle. Slightly flexible and impact-tough. The go-to for signage, automotive trim, and enclosures that live outside. Premium material.
How strong does it need to be?
About 2% infill — mostly hollow inside. The lightest and cheapest option. Perfect for display models, covers, and bins that won't bear any real load.
About 15% infill — our everyday default. A solid balance of strength, weight, and cost that suits the vast majority of functional parts.
About 35% infill — noticeably tougher for load-bearing and functional parts that take real force. Uses a bit more material, so it costs a little more.
About 85% infill — near-solid for very high strength and durability. Heavy and dense, just shy of fully solid; a great pick when a part must not flex or fail.
100% infill — a fully solid part with no internal gaps. Maximum strength, weight, and cost. Use when a part must be as dense and strong as physically possible.
Surface finishLayer height is how thick each printed layer is. Thinner layers mean a smoother surface and finer detail — and more print time. Ultra smooth costs about +50% and roughly doubles the print time. Quick saves ~7% and prints faster; Draft saves ~14% and prints about twice as fast. ABS parts can additionally be vapor-smoothed to a gloss — ask in the notes.
Printed in extra-fine 0.10 mm layers, so the stair-step texture all but disappears and small details stay crisp. Roughly twice the print time, which is why it costs about 50% more per gram. Pick this for figurines, display pieces, and parts you'll hold up close.
0.20 mm layers — the sweet spot of speed, strength, and surface quality. Layer lines are visible up close but easy to hide with light sanding or paint. What we print most parts at.
0.30 mm layers print about a third faster, so you save ~7%. A light ribbed texture up close; strength is unchanged. Great for brackets, jigs, and prototypes.
Chunky 0.40 mm layers print roughly twice as fast — about 14% cheaper. A visible workhorse texture for big functional parts where speed beats looks.
QuantityHow many copies of this part you want. Copies print in batches, so every item takes 1% off the whole order — stacking up to 20% at 20+ pieces.
Tip: 1% off per item — stacks up to 20%.
